Advisory Group

The willingness and readiness of decision-makers to support the project outcomes were essential for the success of the project and its dissemination strategy. They were therefore involved in the advisory group, which furthermore included experts in the field with different background like scientists, consultants, manufacturers, technology developers and regulatory authorities.
The Advisory Group reviewed the progress, discussed the encountered problems and gave guidance to the project in terms of adjustments to the workplan, which were then discussed with the Executive Agency for Competitiveness and Innovation (EACI).

Advisory group members were invited to meet at each project meeting, but they were not obliged to participate. All members were kept informed about the project progress. They were consulted in case external advice was desired.

They were asked to review a.o the following documents:

  • Draft versions of the guideline
  • Questionnaire for the case studies
  • Software tool
  • Method for RA
  • Description of the HSE aspects
  • Legislation issues
  • Recommended harmonization of legal framework
